I am the rare business coach who actually done it themselves: I founded and ran a successful recruiting firm for 11.5 years, growing it to 3 offices, 40 employees and $7.5mm in revenue. I draw upon that experience in my coaching work.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
In my business coaching practice (www.biggercupconsulting.com) I work with founders and C-level execs, mainly in 10-200 person companies.
We help them crystalize their goals and stay on track to grow and scale their business. Most people I work with are already successful, and know that their current way of doing things that has brought them to this point is great, but is not going to really allow them to scale to the next tranche of growth.
