Leveraging Your JBN Profile to Maximize Exposure

Your JBN profile can be a valuable marketing tool if utilized properly. However, without leveraging what your profile has to offer, your profile will exist in a vacuum which will only be accessible to other members of the JBN network. Using already existing social networks that already have a substantial following (such as LinkedIn and Twitter) can significantly increase the exposure that your JBN profile receives by making it more visible.

Let's talk Twitter. Every single activity that you do on JBN can be shared to your Twitter profile. According to TechCrunch, Twitter has 190 million users. Obviously, 190 million people will not view your tweets. That having been said, the potential to share what you have to offer is enourmous. So when you add a blog post or when you create an event on JBN, look for the little Twitter button - it's always there. (This is intended for already existing Twitter users. To post JBN updates on Twitter, you will need your own Twitter account.)

The point being - I do strongly advocate joining a targeted social network such as JBN. It's a laudable effort. But - joining the network is just step one. The point of social networking is - well - networking. So leverage your JBN profile and let the networking begin!
