Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?
In my psychotherapy practice I work with a wide variety of people and problems; my strengths are providing people with the tools they need to make changes in their lives or their living situations.

As an Elder Care Coach I help families plan for an elderly or disabled family member and support caregivers to reconcile the often difficult decisions they have to make.

For the past 20 years, both in NJ and NY I have run support groups for family caregivers in order for people to be with others coping with similar issues. There is no charge for these groups.

I employ traditional psychotherapeutic modalities and also work with writing as a means of self-expression.
What types of business contacts are you looking to make?
I work with companies and individuals who see problems but are unaware of available resources or don't know how to refer clients, colleagues, employees, or even themselves, when the demands of caregiving begin to impact their work or, in the case of a client, the ability to make decisions.

Professionals benefit from knowing about my services to assist a client or, in the case of an employee, get the help needed for them to resume their work responsibilities with fewer interruptions.

I provide involved parties with a blueprint which includes an assessment of need and the information needed to make appropriate decisions and am available to continue providing assistance as needed.

As to my participation in JBN, I like learning from others - the work they do and how it may help me and/or impact my life.

I'm also interested in belonging to an organization that promotes connection amongst people and professions.

Hello Ruth,

I saw your name in JBN's network and noticed the work you do. I am located and service Westchester and Rockland. I would like to take the time to meet you and talk about what we both do in elder care support.

Are you available and willing to meet with me over the next few weeks?  I look forward to sitting with you and sharing with you more details of the services we provide.

Warm regards,

Mark Brownstein
