Brag about yourself - what makes you great at what you do?: Boris Vish is international acclaimed a composer, songwriter, and performer based in New Jersey. Boris grew up in a Jewish family in the former Soviet Union. His parents and relatives spoke Yiddish and celebrated holidays and family occasions with traditional Jewish songs. Many years later, Boris started writing his own Jewish songs and performing them with his band called Shabes. He later spent decades performing Jewish, Russian, and American songs for audiences in New York, New Jersey, and across the East Coast.Boris believes that life without music is impossible. Music is a source of strength, energy, and joy that keeps us going through life's ups and downs, joys and sorrows, milestones big and small. He performs solo with the live Hohner harmonica, keyboard and vocals, his music is energetic and very enjoyable.
